Section 52-262 – Fees for signing process, administering oaths, acknowledgments

Any person legally authorized, except when otherwise provided and except for judges, prosecutors and clerks of court, shall be paid the following fees:

(1) For signing an attachment, summons, warrant or subpoena, taking a bond or recognizance or an affidavit, or administering an oath out of court, ten cents;
(2) for taking the acknowledgment of any instrument, or signing and issuing a subpoena or capias, twenty-five cents; and
(3) for causing notices of the seizure of intoxicating liquors to be posted, or issuing an order for their destruction, fifty cents.
