Appendix A – UNIFORM SCHEDULE OF BAIL [Effective until July 1, 2014]

(1)

(a) Except as indicated in (1)(b), bail for any violation of KRS Chapter 150 shall be $45.

(b) Bail for violations of the following statutes shall be as indicated:

(2) Bail for any violation of KItS Chapter 186 shall be $35 except that, bail for a person charged with a violation of KRS 186.620(2) shall be $200, and bail for a person charged with being a habitual violator under KRS 186.641 to 186.649 and ball for a person charged with theft of a motor vehicle registration plate under KRS 186.990(6) shall be set by the court.

(3)

(a) Except as indicated in (3)(b) and (c), bail for any violation of KRS Chapter 189 shall be set at the minimum fine and court cost for the offense.

(b) Bail for violations of the following statutes shall be as indicated:

(c) Ball for the following offenses shall be as indicated:

Overweight or overdimension (KRS 189.221 – 189.223)

The bond shall not exceed the maximum fine that can be levied for the offense and in no event more than $500.

DWJ (KRS 189.520)

The bond shall be set by the court.

(4) Bail for the following violations of KItS Chapter 218A shall be as indicated:

218A.990 (6) $2000 with 10% deposit

218A.990 (7) 1000 with 10% deposit

218A.990 (10) 1000 with 10% deposit

218A.140 (6) 1000 with 10% deposit

(5) Bail for any violation of KItS Chapter 235 shall be $35.

(6) Bail for violations of K.RS Chapter 244 shall be $1000 with a 10% deposit except that, bail for a person charged with a violation of KItS 244.020 shall be $300 with a 10% deposit, and bail for a person charged with a violation of KRS 244.170 shall be set by the court.

(7) Bail for violations of KRS Chapter 257 shall be $50.
