The grand jury charges:

Count 1. On or about January 15, 1975, in Franklin County, Kentucky, the above-named defendant committed theft by taking an automobile owned by John Jones, of the value of $100 or more;

Count 2. On or about January 20, 1975, in Franklin County, Kentucky, the above-named defendant committed the offense of carrying a concealed weapon by carrying a .38-caliber pistol after having been previously convicted of a felony in which a deadly weapon was used;

Against the peace and dignity of the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
