A. If the child has been placed in an out-of-home placement, and the agency, institution, or individual charged with the care and custody of the child determines that the existing out-of-home placement is no longer appropriate for the child, the agency, institution, or individual shall file a motion requesting a contradictory hearing to determine the appropriate placement for the child.B. The motion shall contain reasons for the determination that the current placement is no longer appropriate for the child and shall contain recommendations for an alternative placement. Notice of filing the motion shall be served upon the court, the district attorney, and counsel for the child.C. The court shall set a hearing on the motion within fourteen days of filing and shall provide at least three days notice to the agency, institution or individual filing the motion, the district attorney, and counsel for the child.
